Pucón: A trek among volcanoes, araucarias, and the summit of the Quetrupillan volcano.｜Chile

Day 1) 19 km: We'll start in the Huililco sector, on the east side of the Quetrupillán Volcano. After crossing the forest, you'll reach the imposing Cordillera de las Carpas, a rock formation that's part of the Kutralkura Geopark. From here, we'll start the ascent with incredible panoramic views of the Lanín Volcano, Quinquilil, and the valley. We'll reach the summit at 2,360 meters above sea level, where a crater 2.3 km in diameter stands out. From above, we'll spot a turquoise lagoon, the destination of our camp at Kimun Ko Lagoon ("water of wisdom").
Day 2) 17.25 km: We'll almost completely skirt the volcano on its South, West, and North faces. Between sand dunes, snowfields, and views of the Villarrica Volcano (Rukapillan), we'll stop at the Blue Lagoon for a refreshing swim. We'll end the day on the north face, setting up camp overlooking endless araucaria forests.
Day 3) 16 km: On the last day, we'll trek through the ridges and valleys of ancient araucarias, descending towards the Loncofilo Valley, where dinner awaits us to end the trek.
