Discover Lofoten with a local Norwegian guide who speaks Chinese and spend a full day exploring some of the most beautiful places across the islands.
Your day begins with pickup directly from your accommodation in Kabelvåg or Svolvær. From here, we set out on a scenic journey through Lofoten, travelling all the way to the small fishing village of Å at the end of the road.
Along the way, we visit some of our favorite places as well as many of Lofoten’s iconic sights. Take a short walk along the harbor and breakwater in Kabelvåg, enjoy the panoramic views from Torvdalshalsen, explore the beautiful coastline of Flakstadøya, and feel the white sand beneath your feet at Ramberg Beach and Skagsanden.
We continue south to the traditional fishing villages of Hamnøy and Reine before reaching Å. During the day, we stop for lunch at Anita’s Sjømat, a local favorite known for seafood and its close connection to Lofoten’s fishing traditions.
But this day is about more than seeing beautiful places. Your guide will share stories about life in Lofoten, local culture, nature and the fishing traditions that have shaped these islands for generations. As your guide is Norwegian and speaks Chinese, you get a local perspective with stories and knowledge shared directly with you in Chinese.
There is plenty of time for photos, short walks and enjoying the places we visit without simply rushing from one stop to the next.
For private tours, you travel in our premium Mercedes-Benz EQV 7-seater. Shared tours are operated in our comfortable Mercedes-Benz Vito, 8-seater.

Meet our Chinese-speaking guides
Eirik Okkenhaug
Meet Eirik Okkenhaug, a Norwegian guide with a unique connection to China. Originally from Trondheim, Eirik spent seven years living in China, where he became known as the rapper Xiao Ou. He released an album in Chinese and toured the country, building a loyal Chinese fanbase.
Today, Eirik lives in Lofoten. Speaking fluent Mandarin, he combines his understanding of Chinese culture with his local knowledge of Norway, sharing Lofoten with Chinese-speaking guests in a personal and natural way.
Ragna
Originally from Trondheim, Ragna also has a special connection to China. Love brought her there, and she spent two years living in China with her Chinese partner.
Today, they call Lofoten home. Ragna speaks Chinese and brings her understanding of both Norwegian and Chinese culture into her guiding, sharing Lofoten and local life in Chinese, English or Norwegian.
