Svalbard: 3-Day Arctic Adventure with Ice Caves & Hikes｜Svalbard and Jan Mayen

logistical complexity. We handle all logistics: daily pickups and drop-offs from your Longyearbyen
accommodation, professional guiding throughout, and complete equipment provision. You simply arrive
in Svalbard, book your hotel, and we take it from there.

DAY ONE: Glacier Wonders & Global Conservation

We collect you from your accommodation in the morning for a guided snowmobile adventure to spectacular ice caves, where you’ll discover natural ice formations and learn about the glacier landscape from your guide. We return to Longyearbyen in the afternoon, giving you time to relax and explore the town. In the evening, enjoy a guided drive through the Arctic tundra to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, where you’ll learn about its role in global food security, Arctic conservation, and protecting the future of our planet. We then return you to your accommodation.


DAY TWO: Summit Views & Arctic Wellness

Morning pickup for ascent of iconic Platåfjellet, breathing in breathtaking panoramic views of
Longyearbyen, Adventfjorden, and surrounding Arctic mountains. Discover Svalbard’s settlement
history, geology, and wildlife on this 3-hour moderate hike. We return you to your accommodation
for lunch and afternoon rest (lunch is not included in the activity). Evening pickup brings you where you will have the possibility to do Polar Plunge’s overlooking Arctic landscape. Experience authentic Svalbard culture, relax in warm comfort as Arctic air crystallizes around you, and reflect on your Arctic journey. We return you to your accommodation afterward. (SAUNA IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR)

DAY THREE: Snowshoe Adventure

Early morning pickup for a snowshoe glacier expedition across vast white landscape.
Discover ice formations and crevasse systems, learn about climate change impacts on Arctic glaciers,
and experience profound Arctic solitude. Trek through pristine wilderness and return with deep
understanding of Svalbard’s frozen landscape and genuine Arctic connection.

Important – Driving Requirements
If the booking is made for two participants, one person will automatically be assigned as the driver and the other as the passenger.

The driver must hold a valid driving licence recognised under the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, or a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).

A translated copy of a driving licence is not accepted. In particular, Chinese participants must present an official International Driving Permit (IDP); a simple translation of a Chinese driving licence is not sufficient.

For safety reasons, the driver must also be able to speak and understand English well enough to follow the guide’s instructions and safety briefings.
