The meeting point is at Cardinal Lemoine station. After a few minutes of warm-up, we set off together through the narrow streets of old Paris.
Very soon, we reach the magnificent Collège des Bernardins, a jewel of 13th-century architecture. Its centuries-old stones remind us that Paris was already a great intellectual and spiritual city in the Middle Ages.
We continue our run towards the peaceful Île Saint‑Louis, a real village in the heart of the Seine, before slipping into the alleys overlooked by Haussmann's transformations on the Île de la Cité.
We naturally pass by the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral, the eternal symbol of the capital, then follow the banks of the Seine before taking the discreet Rue de Bièvre, which was long closed to the public.
The route continues along the picturesque Rue des Grands-Degrés, lined with buildings from the 15th and 16th centuries, before reaching the lively Saint-Michel district and its narrow streets full of charm.
We then head towards Rue Saint-André-des-Arts, pass by the remains of the Tour de Nesle, cross the famous Cour du Commerce‑Saint‑André, and then discover Rue de Buci and its typically Parisian atmosphere.
After crossing Place Furstenberg, one of the most romantic squares in Paris, we admire the surroundings of the legendary Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés before reaching the Church of Saint-Sulpice via the charming Rue des Canettes and Rue Guisarde.
The journey through time continues towards the Latin Quarter: the medieval garden of Cluny Museum, the Sorbonne, and then the majestic Pantheon dominate our route.
With a nod to the 21st century, we will discover the real-life settings of Emily in Paris on our route!
Then, as we walk down the famous Rue Mouffetard, we finally discover the impressive Arènes de Lutèce, one of the oldest remains in the city.
To conclude this sporty and historical adventure, we'll relax over a mint tea in the beautiful courtyard of the Grand Mosque of Paris, a true oriental oasis in the heart of the capital.
As with every trip, we start together… and we finish together. The running pace is always adapted to the slowest participant, so that everyone can fully enjoy the experience.
