Escape to the breathtaking beauty of Tajikistan's Fann Mountains with the Tajikistan Fann Mountains Iskanderkul 2 Day Private Trekking Tour from Samarkand. Just a short 6-hour drive from the ancient city of Samarkand, you will discover one of the most stunning mountain lakes in the world, nestled in the heart of the Fann Mountains.
Meet your driver at your hotel and transfer to the Uzbekistan–Tajikistan border. Cross the border, meet the Tajik staff, and transfer to Iskandarkul (3 hours).
After arriving at the lake, check in at the BaseCamp or Guesthouse. Then walk along the lakeshore. You can also take a 40-minute hike to see the largest waterfall in Tajikistan, known as the Niagara of the Fann Mountains. Snake Lake is located near Iskandarkul Lake.
The next day, drive back to Panjakent along the same route. After a short city tour, cross the border, meet your driver, and return to Samarkand.
