Monteverde: Bird watching at various locations｜Costa Rica

Discover the fascinating birdlife of Monteverde on an exciting and interesting 3-hour discovery tour. Since Monteverde has different microclimate zones, your certified guide will take you in his own bus to strategically selected locations outside the traditional national parks. The best part: You will experience untouched nature away from the crowds, and there are no additional entrance fees or hidden costs for you! Likewise, we do not require a minimum number of participants. So you can also book the tour as an individual and look forward to a great experience!
Your guide will pick you up just before 6:00 AM, conveniently right at your accommodation. Equipped with professional binoculars and a state-of-the-art spotting scope (tripod telescope), you will track down rare, colorful bird species together. These include toucans, campanas, blue manakins, parrots, and many more. The telescope has a special photo and video function – if you wish, you can easily receive all the spectacular shots from your tour afterwards via a link sent by email. At no extra cost, of course.
At 9 a.m., after a 3-hour tour, we will take you back to your accommodation or drop you off in the center, where you can enjoy your well-deserved breakfast.
