- Coverage: Japan
- Speed Specifications: High-speed data with a specified daily allowance, followed by unlimited data at a reduced speed of 512kbps. The company reserves the right to further throttle speeds to 128kbps in accordance with the Fair Usage Policy.
- Day Calculation: The service duration begins upon successful activation at your destination, with each day defined as a 24-hour period.
- Calls/SMS: This is a data-only SIM card; voice calls and SMS are not included (supports internet-based calls via WhatsApp / LINE, etc.). It is not suitable for receiving SMS verification codes (OTP) from banks or ticketing platforms. Please ensure you have alternative methods for receiving verification codes before departure.
- Hotspot Sharing: Supports tethering to other devices for personal, reasonable use.
- Top-up/Add-on: This product does not support top-ups or add-ons. If you require more data or additional days, please purchase a new eSIM separately.
- Service Expiry: Data service terminates immediately upon the end of the service period. Any unused data will expire and is non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable.
- Activation Deadline: Must be activated within 90 days from the date the eSIM QR code is issued. The exact deadline will be specified in the notification sent after purchase. Please scan to activate before the specified date; failure to do so will result in automatic expiration, and no refunds or extensions will be provided.
Purchase Notice
- Your device must be connected to a valid Wi-Fi or mobile network when installing the eSIM.
- Please ensure your device supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked before scanning the QR code.
- If you install the eSIM in a region not covered by the plan (e.g., installing before departure), your phone may show 'No Service', which is normal. Once successfully installed, the plan will automatically connect to the network upon arrival.
- Please enable 'Data Roaming' after arriving at your destination. If there is still no signal, try toggling 'Airplane Mode' to search for a signal again; if the product supports dual networks, you can also try manually selecting the other network in your device settings.
- Each QR code can only be scanned and installed on one device. Once installed, it is bound to that device and cannot be transferred or changed. Please ensure your device is correct before scanning to install.
- Do not share the QR code or installation link with others. Repeated or cross-device scanning, deleting the eSIM yourself, or using the built-in eSIM transfer function (e.g., iPhone 'Quick Transfer') will invalidate the eSIM and it will not be reissued.
- This product is subject to a 'Fair Usage Policy'. During the throttled unlimited data period, network resources will be allocated according to actual conditions, and speeds may be adjusted based on network congestion.
- Actual network speeds are affected by other factors (e.g., location, time of use, number of users, device, etc.).
- Network service issues can occur for various reasons. If you encounter problems, please contact us during the service period for assistance. If a customer reports an issue only after returning to their departure location without any record of contacting us during the service period, the claim may not be accepted (unless verified as a system issuance error by system records).
- Once sold, this service is non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except for cases confirmed by customer service as system issuance errors, such as 'device incompatibility/locked', 'not installed under a good network', 'repeated/cross-device scanning', or 'not activated by the expiry date'.
- If the user deletes the eSIM themselves before the plan is finished, or deletes the eSIM plan without confirmation from customer service, our company will not reissue or refund. If you still have the original QR code and have not used up the installation limit, you can reinstall it yourself.
- This product is subject to the SIMSQ 'eSIM Data Service' terms and conditions, the full text of which will be sent with the shipping notification.
