Product Info

Singapore's story isn't found in any single neighbourhood, it's scattered across the streets, temples, mosques, and colonial buildings that shaped this city. This walking-cum-bus tour brings four of these districts together in one seamless journey: Chinatown, the Colonial District, Kampong Glam, and Little India. A guide leads you on foot through each district's key sites, with a comfortable coach transferring you between them, giving you an immersive introduction to the communities that built modern Singapore.

Registration
Meet at Maxwell MRT Exit A, beside the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum (BTRTM), before setting off with your guide.

Chinatown
Explore the historic heart of Singapore's early Chinese immigrant community. Highlights include the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, the Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore's oldest Hindu temple, located within Chinatown Pagoda Street, and the atmospheric Trengganu Street and Smith Street, with free time to browse the shops and stalls.

Coach Transfer to the Colonial District
Board the coach for a ride to Victoria Concert Hall and Theatre (VCTH).

Colonial District
Dropped off at VCTH, explore the civic and historic core of colonial Singapore on foot. The walk takes in the Arts House, National Gallery Singapore, and a pointed-out view of the Substation, Singapore Recreation Club, and the historic Padang, before continuing to the Raffles Landing Site and along the Singapore River, past the Asian Civilisations Museum and the Fullerton Hotel, the river's bronze sculptures, and historic bridges, before returning to VCTH.

Coach Transfer to Kampong Glam
Board the coach for the ride over to Haji Lane.

Kampong Glam
Explore the Malay heritage quarter of Singapore: Haji Lane's street art and boutiques, Arab Street, Bussorah Street, and Muscat Street, before arriving at the golden-domed Sultan Mosque and the Istana Kampong Glam, home to the Malay Heritage Centre. Don't miss the historic glam tree, from which the district takes its name.

Coach Transfer to Little India
Board the coach for the final leg over to Little India Arcade.

Little India
Immerse yourself in the colour and culture of Singapore's Indian community. Highlights include Little India Arcade, the Indian Heritage Centre, the bustling Tekka Market, the vividly painted Tan Teng Niah house, and the striking Buffalo mural. The tour concludes at Little India MRT Exit E.

Why Take This Tour
Rather than visiting Singapore's ethnic and colonial districts in isolated trips, this tour weaves four distinct chapters of the city's history into one continuous, guided experience on foot where the stories come alive, and by coach in between. You'll come away with a real sense of how Chinese, colonial, Malay, and Indian communities each left their mark on Singapore today.

Meet: Maxwell MRT Exit 1
Ends: Little India MRT Exit E
