Explore San Antonio after dark on a relaxed 2.5 to 3-hour small-group walking experience limited to six guests.

Begin near Alamo Plaza, where Victor, your local storyteller, shares how Mission San Antonio de Valero became a military garrison and fortified compound, its connection to the Spanish presidio, and the events leading to the 1836 Battle of the Alamo.

Continue through the illuminated River Walk as though exploring the city with a longtime local friend. See historic bridges, Marriage Island, the Arneson River Theatre, La Villita, Main Plaza, and San Fernando Cathedral.

Along the way, hear stories of Indigenous communities, Spanish missions and acequias, Canary Islanders, the Chili Queens, local traditions, architecture, and familiar movie locations. The relaxed pace allows time for photographs, questions, and conversation.

When scheduled, the evening concludes with San Antonio | The Saga, projected across the façade of San Fernando Cathedral. When the presentation is not scheduled, the experience includes the cathedral’s history and Main Plaza after dark.
