Zanzibar Jozani Forest and Prison Island private tour

First up is a guided tour through the mangroves of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park. This spot is known for its unique forest ecosystem, and the rare Zanzibar red colobus monkeys call this place home – the humid forests here are one of their favourite places to live.

Next, you'll head to Stone Town to catch the boat to Changuu Island, AKA Prison Island, for a tour. The island is home to the giant Aldabra tortoises – some of them are over 150 years old – and you'll visit the foundation that takes care of them. You'll also explore the Prison Island Museum to learn more about its fascinating history. Plus, there's time to snap a few pics of the coastal scenery before your return journey.
