  • This plan allows you to easily experience the traditional Japanese culture of 'Shodo' (calligraphy) in Asakusa.
Even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind, as we provide careful instruction starting from how to hold the brush. First, you will practice basic lines and characters, and then move on to writing your favorite Kanji or words to create your own piece of art.
You can choose from popular Kanji such as 'Ai' (Love), 'Yume' (Dream), or 'Wa' (Harmony), or even write your own name in Kanji.
You can take your finished work home with you.
It is a perfect souvenir of your trip or a great gift. Enjoy the scent of the ink and the feel of the brush as you experience the quiet beauty unique to Japan.

  • Preschool children must be accompanied by a guardian. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage to clothing or belongings.

  • Since ink will be used, we recommend wearing clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Participation may be refused to those who have consumed alcohol. If you are late, your experience time may be shortened.

* **For those arriving by car:** There is no parking available. Please use a nearby coin-operated parking lot. * **For those arriving by train:** 5-6 minute walk from Exit 6 of Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. 5 minute walk from Exit A1 of Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line. 4 minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 4 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 70% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
