- This course is designed to be enjoyed by both beginners and experienced climbers. The name of the falls means eight consecutive waterfalls and pools, and as the name suggests, there are eight waterfalls, starting from downstream: Uodome, Shoji, Karato, O-suribachi, Ko-suribachi, Byobu, Kibune, and Shichiben-gaeshi. You will climb the true core of the waterfalls, which cannot be seen from the hiking trail. This is not for beginners. You will be climbing using your whole body.

- Yatsubuchi Falls is the only waterfall in Shiga Prefecture to be selected as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls. Previously, it was a hidden waterfall known only to those climbing Mt. Hira. You will climb to the true core of the waterfalls, which cannot be seen from the hiking trail.

What to wear and bring: ・Swimsuit A close-fitting type is recommended. Underwear is fine. ・Shorts Wear these on the outside of your wetsuit. Anything is fine as long as it's hard to take off. (If you don't have any, you can rent them on site for 500 yen.) ・Gloves To protect your hands and keep them warm. For diving, fishing, etc. Work gloves or work gloves are also acceptable. ・Swimming goggles Handy for underwater observation and protecting against splashes. Clear lenses are recommended!
