  • Led by a Japanese Kendo practitioner with over 20 years of experience and a graduate of Keio University's Kendo club, along with a foreign Kendo practitioner representing Malaysia, our team of experienced instructors will guide you safely and fun!! 'It seems difficult...', 'The armor looks heavy...', 'It looks painful...' There is no need to worry about any of that!! Come on, let's take the first step toward becoming a Samurai together!!

  • At the end of the tour, we have prepared a 'paper balloon match' where you try to hit paper balloons attached to the men (helmet) and kote (gauntlets), as well as a mini-tournament in a match format. Since this is your first time experiencing Kendo, please enjoy the actual combat. Even for beginners, we will guide you to the point where you can have an actual match by the end. Let's step out into a 'battle' you cannot experience in daily life!!

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • ・Please be sure to follow the instructions of the guide and staff during the tour. We will not be held responsible for any accidents or other incidents that may occur if you do not follow these instructions. ・If you wear glasses, please bring contact lenses as there is a possibility that your glasses may break.

Other important points to note:

  • ・The dojo is a sacred place, so please cooperate by not touching equipment without permission or making noise. ・The location may change depending on the number of people and the time of day. ・The tour time is only an estimate and may actually be earlier or later, so please allow yourself plenty of time. ・Please bring comfortable clothing on the day. (If the equipment does not fit properly and cannot be worn, you may be asked to wear your own clothing.) ・Please note that this service is only available in Japanese and English.

Reminders

  • Participant age: 9 to 100 years old

  • What to wear and what to bring: Please bring comfortable clothing. (If the equipment is too ill-fitting and cannot be worn, you may be asked to wear your own clothes.) Shower facilities will be available, so please bring a towel if necessary.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 7 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 80% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
