Comic World Taiwan (CWT) is Taiwan's most representative doujinshi (fan-made comics) convention and the largest doujinshi convention for women in Taiwan. Held annually since 2002, it has been running for over 20 years, with three events in Taipei, two in Taichung, and three in Kaohsiung each year. The term "doujin" originates from Japanese and refers to like-minded friends; therefore, doujinshi are books and magazines created and published collaboratively by a group of like-minded individuals. CWT is not only a gathering place for doujinshi enthusiasts but also an important venue for creators to showcase their work and exchange ideas. Each event attracts a large number of people from home and abroad who love doujinshi culture, making it a vital platform for them to share their creations and exchange experiences.
