Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, nestled in a corner of Yokohama Bay, boasts four theme aquariums, an amusement park, a shopping mall, restaurants, and hotels, seamlessly integrating the elements of sea, island, and life. It's also the only comprehensive marine leisure and entertainment facility in the metropolitan area to utilize an entire island.
The Ocean Resort is comprised of four aquariums with distinct themes. The Aquarium is Japan's largest aquarium, showcasing over 120,000 marine creatures representing 700 species, and features dolphin and sea lion performances. The Ocean Manor is an experiential aquarium themed around "ocean cultivation," designed to foster a better environment for marine life. It also features a food court where visitors can fry fish caught or caught. The Ocean Intimate Hall offers close-up observation and interaction with dolphins, seals, black reef elephants, and more. The Dolphin Dream Hall offers a truly relaxing experience, allowing visitors to watch dolphins swim freely through a tunnel.
Sea Paradise boasts a diverse array of attractions, including the popular Wave Roller Coaster, a free-fall ride, a rotating observatory, and the massive "Ocean" maze, offering thrills and excitement for both adults and children. It's easily accessible from Tokyo and surrounding tourist spots, taking in the city's popular tourist destinations of Asakusa, Shinjuku, and Tokyo in about an hour. It's also about 30 minutes from the Yokohama Bay area, Kamakura, and Enoshima. - Nighttime programs (nighttime aquarium admission ticket, nighttime pass) are valid from 15:00 or 16:00 on the eligible date.
- The unlimited access to rides in the Unlimited Pass package includes a maximum number of rides, but some special paid attractions require separate purchase and are not included in the ticket price.
- When redeeming tickets, please send a representative to the designated counter to exchange for physical tickets (maximum of 2 people) and queue in order; the start time for redemption may be adjusted when there are many people.
- If you need to enter and exit the park multiple times on the same day, please get a re-entry stamp at the exit and present a valid ticket and stamp when re-entering the park.
- Ticket usage and age restrictions -
- Children under 4 years old can enter for free (no ticket required).
- Depending on the ticket category, you may be required to show identification; failure to do so may result in a ticket price adjustment or refusal of entry.
- The YAKIYA BBQ all-you-can-eat plan only includes meals and does not include park admission, aquarium, or rides.
- Flexible date one-day pass (early bird discount) is non-refundable once sold.
