Pass by the enormous Karl Marx monument, 7 meters tall, made by Lev Kerbel, that is also the city’s most famous monument. Marvel at the Red Tower, the symbol of the town built in the 12th century that has survived many wars and centuries and is all that is left from the former Chemnitz city wall.
