- Taiko is a regular ferry service connecting Hakata and Fukue. The ship’s interior combines refined design with excellent functionality and is fully barrier-free, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers. When leaving Hakata Port: Check-in procedures begin at 9:00pm and boarding at 9:45pm. Please complete procedures by 11:00pm.
Tickets can be redeemed at locations other than Hakata Port up to 20 minutes before departure.
Depending on sea conditions on the day of travel, the trip may be canceled; in such cases we will contact you at the phone number you provided. Reservation changes (rescheduling) as well as refunds are available at no charge.
Arrival times are estimates and not guaranteed. Please allow plenty of time in your schedule.
The ship has no restaurant but there are vending machines.
All rooms are non-smoking; two smoking areas are available.
There are free lockers on board for storing valuables such as a wallet or mobile phone.
When checking luggage onto the ship, there is a charge of 500 yen per piece. The total dimensions (length + width + height) must be ≤ 200 cm (and under 30 kg).
Dangerous goods are prohibited.
On the day of boarding, please prepare the voucher displayed on your smartphone or other device and exchange it for the actual ticket at the port.
