Begin your hike to Dolukanda, a mountain steeped in legend and revered as a holy site. As you ascend, learn about the mountain's significance in Hindu mythology, believed to be a fragment of the Himalayas brought to Sri Lanka by Lord Hanuman.

Reach the highest cliff, known as Hulang Kapolla, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Explore the Dolukanda Cave, a large rock shelter that can accommodate up to a dozen people, often used by campers for overnight stays.
