Begin your journey with a picturesque, high-altitude drive through the rolling pine forests of Garner Valley and past the deep blue waters of Lake Hemet. From there, step back in time with a historic loop through the legendary mountain town of Idyllwild before diving deep into the backcountry along the San Jacinto Ridge Truck Trail.

The crown jewel of this tour is a technical descent through the dense Jeffrey and Ponderosa Pines to forge across the cold waters of the San Jacinto River (North Fork). Along the way, your guide will bring the landscape to life with rich local lore, stories of early pioneer settlements, the deep heritage of the local Cahuilla Tribe, and Hollywood’s golden-era history hidden within the National Forest.
