From Saariselkä: Aurora Hunting Tour, campfire & snacks｜Finland

Relax, unwind, and actively chase the Aurora Borealis on a comfortable, silent journey deep into the Lapland wilderness. This exclusive night adventure takes you far from light pollution to the location with the best chance of witnessing a truly breathtaking display.

The Active Chase for the Lights

The Strategy: We don't wait for the lights; we chase them! Our expert local guide actively monitors the latest space weather and cloud forecasts to determine the optimal viewing location. We are prepared to drive wherever the probability is highest, even if it means venturing far away, maximizing your chances of a successful sighting.

Comfort & Silence: Settle into our smooth Multivan Hybrid and enjoy the tranquil, snow-covered landscapes as we drive along winding roads. We might head towards the remote Paatsjoki River Bridge near the Russian border, or we might seek out a wide-open vista under a clear patch of sky.

Witness the Magic: Marvel as the Northern Lights ignite the heavens. This is a moment you'll remember forever, and we ensure you get the memories to prove it. Your guide will take many high-quality photographs, including stunning portrait photos of you with the Aurora in the background, ensuring you take home beautiful keepsakes. 100% certainty of seeing the Northern Lights is impossible. The Aurora is a natural phenomenon governed by solar activity and, crucially, local weather. However, we are committed to finding you the single best possible location for the night.

Arctic Campfire Comfort

Traditional Finnish Feast: Warm up around a crackling open fire where we’ll cook sausages the traditional Finnish way.
Sweet Treats: Enjoy a cozy dessert of warm juice, fresh buns, and cookies.
The combined warmth of the campfire and the hot treats will ensure you stay snug and comfortable as you relax under the spectacular winter sky.

Join us for an unforgettable night where the Arctic silence meets the dazzling dance of the Northern Lights!
