Discover the Vilama River Canyon on an experience that combines cycling, trekking, nature, and Andean culture.
We'll start by cycling from San Pedro de Atacama to the entrance of the canyon, where we'll continue on foot along a trail by the river and its various vantage points. Along the way, you'll enjoy a landscape of volcanic origin, observe flora and fauna, admire the volcanoes through binoculars, and, depending on the conditions, explore its water areas and crystal-clear waterfalls.
The experience also includes an introduction to the Andean worldview and the geology of the area, to better understand the landscape we're exploring.
The drop-off is by bike, including a descent through a gorge of medium difficulty.
