Welcome to Canoë Cévennes, your canoeing and kayaking base located in Agonès, in the heart of the Gorges de l'Hérault, just 40 minutes from Montpellier and 1 hour from Nîmes.

Treat yourself to a pleasant 7-km canoe-kayak descent in the heart of the Hérault Gorges. Accessible from the age of 6, this family-friendly route is ideal for discovering the river at your own pace, amidst natural scenery, crystal-clear waters, pebble beaches, and swimming breaks in an unspoiled environment.

The meeting point is at the Canoë Cévennes base in Agonès a few minutes before your departure. After you check in at the front desk, our team will give you all the equipment you need for your activity: paddles, life jackets, and a waterproof container. A shuttle then takes you to the starting point, where a briefing will allow you to approach the descent with complete peace of mind.

Throughout the route, let the current carry you and enjoy a trip that is accessible to all. With calm stretches, small, fun rapids, and magnificent panoramas of the Gorges de l'Hérault, this ride is perfect for sharing a pleasant time with family or friends. Numerous natural beaches line the route and offer the opportunity to take a break, swim, or simply enjoy the exceptional setting.

Upon arrival, you will find yourself directly at the Canoë Cévennes base, where your vehicle is waiting for you. An unmissable nature outing to discover the Hérault in a different way and create beautiful memories along the water.
