Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Quito or Quito's airport. Stop for acclimatization with local tea, buy Andean snacks or extra drinks, or have breakfast (if you didn't have it).

Visit the volcanic valley and Limpiopungo Lagoon in Cotopaxi National Park at 3800 meters above sea level (12,467 ft). Arrive at the volcanic valley where there are more possibilities to appreciate the Cotopaxi volcano, the second highest of Ecuador.

After this first visit, leave this national park that is located in the eastern mountain range, take the Panamericana Highway again to the south to connect to Pujili area and the Western Mountain Range where Quilotoa Lagoon is, part of Los Ilinizas Ecological Reserve.

Cross (driving) some Andean communities during the day. Finally, arrive at Quilotoa Community at 3,850 meters (12,631 ft), where you can find scenic viewpoints, a colorful craft market, stores, restaurants, and cafes.

Admire the Quilotoa Volcanic Lagoon from a viewpoint. Enjoy free time for lunch in Quilotoa (not included).
After the activities, return to Quito for drop-off at your hotel.
