Wildlife Viewing Sightseeing Tour and Corcovado – Full Day
Enjoy a full day of adventure on the Osa Peninsula, one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. This tour combines wildlife watching with a guided hike in the La Leona sector of Corcovado National Park, renowned for its abundant animal activity and well-preserved natural environment.
Departure is at 6:00 AM from Puerto Jiménez, traveling in a 4x4 vehicle with a licensed naturalist tour guide. Along the way, you'll enjoy rural landscapes, rainforest, and views of the Pacific Ocean, while the tour guide shares information about local biodiversity and ecosystems.
In La Leona, we'll take an easy and mostly flat hike, ideal for all types of visitors. This area combines primary forest, open areas, and a coastal environment, which makes it easy to observe wildlife.
It's common to see the four species of monkeys, as well as sloths, coatis, deer, anteaters, and a wide variety of birds such as toucans, hawks, and scarlet macaws. With a bit of luck, you can also see felines such as the puma or ocelot. The tour guide uses binoculars and a telescope to enhance sightings.
Lunch is a packed lunch, which you'll take with you on the hike. The tour guide will indicate the best time and place within the forest to take a break and enjoy lunch in a natural environment.
It is very important that you inform us in advance if you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or special preferences, so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
The sightseeing tour is conducted in small groups (maximum 10 people) to provide a more authentic, peaceful, and personalized experience.

Important Note
This is one of the best wildlife watching tours in Corcovado. Stricter regulations in the Sirena sector have reduced sighting opportunities, while La Leona retains a more natural environment with greater animal activity, making it an excellent alternative for wildlife lovers.
