Private Day Trip: Zagreb to Ljubljana & Lake Bled｜Slovenia

Here's the problem with most Zagreb-to-Ljubljana-and-Bled day trips: you're on a bus with forty other people, someone's got a microphone, and you get exactly 45 minutes at the lake before you're herded back onboard. This isn't that.

It's a private car, just your group, for a full ten hours. First stop is Ljubljana. Cross the Triple Bridge, wander the Old Town's cobblestone streets, climb up to the castle for a view over the rooftops if you feel like it - or just find a café and watch the city go by. Nobody's rushing you.

From there it's on to Lake Bled, on the way back toward Zagreb. Your driver drops you right in the town center - walk the lakeshore, or take a traditional pletna boat out to the island church. Want the castle on the hill too? Just ask, and your driver will take you straight up there instead of leaving you the climb, and can drop you at the boat dock as well if you'd rather skip the walk around. Castle entrance and the boat ride are extra, paid on-site, but getting to either one is easy.
Ten hours, split however you actually want. Two hours in Ljubljana and three at the lake? Fine. The reverse? Also fine. That's the entire point of doing this privately instead of on a bus running someone else's timetable.
