Luang Prabang: Natural Soap-Making with Local Botanicals｜Laos

During this 90-minute experience, you'll be introduced to the traditional cold-process soap-making method and guided through every step of the process. Learn about the oils, botanicals, herbs used in natural soap making, including ingredients commonly found in the region.

After a short introduction to the materials and safety procedures, you'll mix your own ingredients, customize your recipe with natural additives and scents, and pour your soap into molds. Along the way, you'll discover how different ingredients contribute to skincare and how natural soaps are made from scratch.

No previous experience is required. The workshop is designed for beginners and is suitable for solo travelers, couples, friends, families, and anyone interested in local crafts and sustainable products.

At the end of the session, you'll take home six handmade soap bars that you created yourself, along with a guide to help you continue your soap-making journey at home.
