Product Info

For the tour, you can choose to meet at either Kurohime Station or Mure Station on the Shinano Railway Kita-Shinano Line. If meeting at Mure Station, you will take the Shinano Railway to Kurohime Station. We will take time for lunch. The tour will end at Mure Station. *Under the Travel Agency Act, please prepare your own train fare. The old post towns around Kurohime Station are divided into Kashiwabara-juku and Furuma-juku, and the post town closest to Kurohime Station is Kashiwabara-juku. Then, towards Zenko-ji, there is Mure-juku, where Mure Station is located. A brief explanation of each post town. It is towards Zenko-ji with more downhill sections. For a while from Kurohime Station, the road is paved, but halfway through, we will enter the former Hokkoku Kaido that has not been 'nationalized', and this section will be walked on snowshoes. Let's enjoy a walk on the road while feeling the atmosphere of what was once a bustling yet difficult place. After walking for an hour, the road opens up and enters a village, so the snowshoeing will end. We will look for traces of the past, such as signposts halfway between Kaga and Edo, towards Mure-juku, and the tour will end at Mure Station.
