Product Info

Meet Miss Anju Maurya, a traditional Indian chef from Rishikesh with over 20 years of cooking experience cooking. Learn the art of Vaishnava-style Sattvic cooking, a method that reflects authentic Indian flavors, delicate spicing, and devotion.

Important: These cooking classes follow a no-onion, no-garlic cooking style.

Join Miss Anju in her kitchen, where she shares her cooking secrets and the spiritual significance behind every meal. As a peaceful devotee of Lord Krishna, she follows ancient cooking techniques passed down through her family and Guru’s tradition. She never uses onion or garlic and aligns her cooking with seasonal and planetary movements, following Ayurvedic and spiritual guidelines.

Before every meal, she performs a food offering ritual (Bhoga) with Sanskrit mantras, offering the food to Lord Krishna. Her presence brings calm and devotion — cooking with her is not just a class, it’s an inner experience of love and mindfulness.

In her Sattvic Indian Cooking Classes, Miss Anju teaches how food influences both body and mind. Following Ayurveda’s principle — “You are what you eat” — she shares how to prepare pure, healing, and spiritually uplifting food.

Her Vegan Culinary Class offers 20+ immersive lessons focusing on plant-based, wholesome, and devotional cooking. As a Hare Krishna devotee, her vegan dishes are infused with love and tradition, promoting health, simplicity, and spirituality.

Whether you’re new or experienced, her hands-on classes are easy to follow and can be replicated at home. Learn traditional Indian vegan recipes and sattvic principles in the heart of Rishikesh.
