After being picked up from your hotel in Bangalore, head to Belur. Admire the sculptures at the Chennakesava temple, which took a hundred years to build.

Head to Halebid, the other capital of the Hoysala empire. Located 16 kilometers from Belur, spend a couple of hours in the 2 magnificent temples inside the complex dedicated to Hoysalesvara and Shantalesvara. See the Nandi bull statue, which took 86 years to build.
