STEP 1 | Oshiage Streets - Kanji Exploration Mission (After meeting at Oshiage Station, embark on a fun and relaxing mini-adventure! Follow photo clues to find 3 designated Kanji locations on the way to the studio, and experience the authentic charm of Tokyo's streetscape from a new perspective.)
STEP 2 | Interwoven Light and Shadow - Immersive Projection Performance
Step into a traditional Japanese space filled with the scent of wood and tatami mats, and enjoy a flowing light and shadow performance inspired by Japan's nature, seasons, and culture. Surrounded by sound and light, experience the perfect collision of modern digital art and traditional style.
STEP 3 | Mindful Practice - Authentic Calligraphy Basics
A professional instructor will demonstrate how to grind ink, hold the brush, and control the pressure. Under the instructor's step-by-step guidance, practice basic lines and Kanji, and master the beauty of calligraphy without any pressure.
STEP 4 | Creative Inspiration - Your Unique Masterpiece
Choose a Japanese word that is meaningful to you, or let the instructor help translate your name into beautiful Kanji. After sufficient practice, write on large paper to complete your very own calligraphy artwork. A dedicated protective tube is provided free of charge after the experience, making it easy to store and take home.

Clothing Advice: Traditional Japanese work clothes, 'Samue', are provided on-site for free to protect your clothing from ink stains. However, as ink can be difficult to remove, we still recommend wearing clothes that you do not mind getting stained.
