Product Info
- Experience dyeing a stole using the "Shin-Manyo-zome" dyeing technique. You can easily experience the basics of dyeing, including gradients and tie-dyeing. Why not try dyeing as a memento of your visit to Kyoto? ~Schedule for the day~ The experience will begin as soon as you are ready. (5 minutes) You will receive a brief lecture before starting the experience. (20 minutes) You will decide on the color scheme and technique to dye. (35 minutes) You will actually dye the material and experience "Shin-Manyo-zome" dyeing. (50 minutes)
- What is "Shin-Manyo-zome"?
- "Shin-Manyo-zome" uses natural materials such as madder root and marigold petals as dyes. It is basically the same as "plant dyeing" using natural dyes, but a characteristic of "Shin-Manyo-zome" is that it can produce vibrant colors in a short amount of time.
- You can choose the color to dye from 18 options.
- Choose a color to dye from the 18 standard colors of "Shin-Manyo-zome" dyeing.
- Made with Chita cotton stoles!
- Our shop uses stoles that are very soft and have a rich texture, woven in the Chita Peninsula of Aichi Prefecture.

- Cancellations 1 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 0 to 0 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
