उत्पाद जानकारी

Day 1

  • Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. After arrival, check into your hotel and rest (check-in at Alaskan hotels is after 4:00 PM).

Day 2

  • We will meet at the hotel in the morning and depart by car to Matanuska Glacier. We will stop at a large supermarket along the way, where you are free to shop and prepare your lunch.
  • Upon arrival at the glacier, you will enjoy a glacier hiking experience led by a professional guide (approximately 2 hours).

Kind tips:

1) It is recommended to wear warm down jackets, fleece jackets, hats, scarves, non-slip snow boots, sunglasses, etc., and pay attention to your footing.

2) Please follow the guide's instructions during the hike and be sure to sign the waiver required by the park management.

3) Helmets, anti-slip shoe chains, and other hiking gear will be provided free of charge.

Day 3

  • Departing from the hotel this morning, you will board the Alaskan Northern Lights Train* heading north to Fairbanks, Alaska's second-largest city (08:30-20:00). **No tour guide will accompany you on board.**
  • Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. During this time, you can prepare your equipment for the evening's Northern Lights observation.
  • As night falls, to avoid city light pollution, we plan to depart at 22:00 for our carefully selected aurora viewing cabin*, boasting an excellent location that greatly increases your chances of witnessing the Northern Lights. Our professional aurora guide will introduce you to the basics of the aurora borealis, camera parameter adjustments, and aurora photography techniques to help you capture stunning aurora photos. The cabin offers complimentary hot drinks, coffee, and an aurora monitoring screen, allowing you to wait warmly for the aurora (first aurora viewing session, included in the price). We expect to arrive at the hotel for rest at 02:00 the following morning.

Day 4

  • Free time in the morning
  • We are scheduled to depart at 13:00 in the afternoon and travel by car to the famous North Pole, also known as "Santa's Home". In order to create a strong Christmas atmosphere in Santa's hometown, a 16-meter-high giant Santa Claus statue, a 2-meter-high polar bear and reindeer statue have been specially built here. Many public facilities around also have Christmas symbols, making people feel as if they are in a fairy tale world.
  • Afterwards, you will follow your guide to the Museum of the North*, located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. This is the best place for visitors to explore the mysterious Arctic world and the real lives of early inhabitants. The museum's exterior, with its white lines and curved shapes, mimics the perpetual snow cover of the Arctic region, reflecting a dazzling light under the sun, making it one of Fairbanks' landmark buildings. The museum is divided into different exhibition halls, providing detailed information on the geographical changes and historical evolution of the Arctic region. It also displays some rare Arctic animal specimens that we can only see in books (Blue Babe, mammoth, brown bears nearly 3 meters tall, etc.), which particularly attract the attention of visitors. Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel for rest. (If the Museum of the North is closed, you will be arranged to visit the Maurice Cultural Experience Center, and your USD$15 Northern Polar Museum admission fee will be refunded on-site.)
  • Around 22:00, we will proceed to the cabin for the second night of aurora viewing. We are expected to arrive at the hotel for rest at 02:00 the following morning.

Day 5

  • Free time during the day
  • Around 10:00 PM, we will depart for the area surrounding Fairbanks. Our professional aurora guide will take you to the most favorable location for aurora viewing, based on the weather conditions, the direction of the aurora, and their extensive experience in aurora chasing. During the visit, we will also introduce you to relevant knowledge about the aurora borealis, camera parameter adjustments, and aurora photography techniques to help you capture stunning aurora photos (3rd aurora viewing session, fee included).
