Enjoy a tour driving a GoCar, that will take you off the beaten path through many of San Diego’s iconic parks like the Balboa Park and Petco Park on the way to Hillcrest and back.  

Snap some amazing photos along the Pacific Ocean and see San Diego up close. You can even park and take a stroll if you choose. On the way back explore the boutique shopping districts of Hillcrest.

This tour is approximately two hours of driving time at a slow pace and has several fun, informative detours and stop options along the way.  If you want to extend the tour you have the option of taking the Oldtown loop at the end of the tour.

  • Know Before You Go: GoCars hold a maximum of 2 people

  • Know Before You Go: Prices are per GoCar, not per person

  • Know Before You Go: You must be 21 years or older to rent

  • Know Before You Go: Major credit card and valid driver’s license (international license is not necessary) are required

  • Know Before You Go: GoCars do not accommodate car seats for children

  • Know Before You Go: On the day of rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the GoCar is returned

  • Know Before You Go: All riders must sign a standard participant agreement

  • Know Before You Go: Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rent

  • Know Before You Go: Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental. Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments
