[Easy Overseas Golf Tee Time Booking] Penang Golf Club | Penang, Malaysia
Penang Golf Club is renowned for hosting the 'Malaysian Open,' where the legendary golfer 'Vijay Singh' was crowned champion in 1992.
■ Location and Accessibility: It offers excellent accessibility, located just about a 20-minute drive from Penang International Airport (PEN) and the UNESCO World Heritage site of George Town.
■ Course: Designed by the world-renowned master Robert Trent Jones Jr., this eco-friendly parkland course preserves the natural contours of the jungle and rocky terrain.
■ Course Features: While the total length is relatively short at approximately 5,846 meters (6,393 yards), it is challenging due to narrow fairways flanked by dense jungle rough.
Any stray shot will likely result in a lost ball, making precise course management essential. The course features Bermuda grass and Tif Dwarf greens, providing a very fast and dynamic green speed.
