Battery Park, Statue of Liberty Museum and Grounds guided tour

Meeting point description: Your guide will be holding a yellow WalksDevour sign in front of the glass elevator for the subway outside the National Museum of the American Indian. Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts.(1 Bowling Green, New York, NY 10004, USA)

Accessibility:The ferry and grounds of the Statue of Liberty are wheelchair accessible

Not allowed:Luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container)

Extra fees to be paid on site:Upon arrival at Liberty Island, handbags and backpacks must be stored in a locker at $2.00

Know in advance:All guests are required to pass through airport-style security to board the ferry and again to disembark

The ferry does not operate during heavy rain or other adverse weather conditions; when this occurs, an alternative option is provided

The guided portion of the tour ends on Liberty Island, though your ticket provides access to Ellis Island if you choose to stay on your own

Please allow plenty of time to arrive for your tour. Transportation in NYC whether by taxi, car, or subway is notoriously slow and can often be unreliable. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows
