  • The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival will be viewed from 【Reserved Seats】 (Shinano River riverbed, left bank). You will be able to watch until the moving grand finale. Please enjoy it to your heart's content. 
  • Use a parking lot near the fireworks venue (usually about a 10-minute walk away).
    *After the fireworks end, traffic regulations enforced by the police will cause congestion in the city. It typically takes about 2 to 3 hours to exit the parking lot.
  • Shinkansen Green Car usage (*Outbound: Tokyo or Ueno to Echigo-Yuzawa; Inbound: Takasaki to Tokyo or Ueno)
  • Stay at Shin-Tainai Onsen and Tsukioka Onsen.

＜Regarding the decision to cancel the fireworks＞ 

  • In the event of severe weather, the fireworks festival may be canceled based on the decision of the Nagaoka Fireworks Competition Committee. If the decision is made before the tour departs from Tokyo Station, the trip will be canceled. If a decision has not been made before departure, the tour will proceed as scheduled. Please note that there will be no refunds for the tour fee after departure.

＜Recommended items to bring＞ 

  • Flashlight (as the path from the fireworks venue to the parking lot is dark)
  •  Raincoat (as the use of umbrellas is prohibited while watching the fireworks) 
  • Heat protection [hat, drinks, easy-to-remove clothing, sunscreen, cooling spray, etc.] (We plan to arrive at the fireworks venue around 15:00-18:00 to avoid surrounding traffic congestion.) 
  • Newspaper or plastic sheet (The seats are folding chairs set up on the ground, so these are useful for placing under the chairs to store your belongings.)
  •  Parasols may be used until sunset. Please be considerate of other guests around you when using one.
  •  Tripods for photography cannot be used at a height above eye level while seated. Please be mindful when using them so that everyone can enjoy the show comfortably.

  • A minimum of 2 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 21 day(s) before the departure date

  • Regarding the departure and arrival stations for the round-trip Shinkansen, during peak seasons, extra trains may be used. The departure and arrival stations (Tokyo or Ueno) for the round-trip Shinkansen will be provided on your voucher.

  • This course will be viewed from seated areas (Shinano River riverbed, left bank). You will be seated on folding chairs arranged on the soil of the riverbed.

  • We will arrive at the fireworks venue relatively early, between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Since you will be waiting for a long time before the fireworks begin, please take sufficient precautions against the heat.

  • It usually takes about 10 minutes to walk from the bus parking lot to the viewing area. After the fireworks end, traffic congestion occurs in the city due to police traffic restrictions, so it typically takes 2 to 3 hours for buses to leave the parking lot. Therefore, although we plan to arrive at the accommodation around 25:20 (1:20 AM), this may vary significantly from the initial estimate.

  • In the event of severe weather, the Nagaoka Fireworks Competition may cancel the fireworks display at its discretion. If a decision is made before the tour departs from Tokyo Station, your trip will be cancelled. If no decision is made before departure, the tour will depart as scheduled. Please note that no refunds will be given for tour fees after departure.

  • Due to the expected heavy crowds, we will prioritize fireworks viewing in our itinerary. There is a possibility that some parts of the itinerary may be changed. Also, due to safety regulations for tour buses, there may be long waits before departure from the station or hotel.

  • A fee of 1,500 yen per meal will be charged for any changes to the meal plan due to food allergies, religious reasons, etc., plus any difference in price. Please notify us at least 14 days before your departure date.

  • Please leave the seating arrangements for transportation (bus, airplane, train, etc.) and accommodation room assignments to us. We kindly ask that you refrain from reclining your bus seat.

  • Even when booking for two or more people, train seats may not be adjacent or may be separated. Please be aware of this in advance.
