18:30 – Arrive at Lake Minnewanka We begin with a short orientation and wildlife safety briefing before setting out along the scenic lakeshore. 

18:40 – 20:40 – Guided Sunset Walk to Stewart Canyon Bridge Enjoy a relaxed, interpretive 2-hour lakeside walk toward Stewart Canyon Bridge and back. Along the way, your guide will share insights on: Glacial history and canyon formation Wildlife corridors and animal behavior Forest ecology and mountain ecosystems We pause at Stewart Canyon to take in the rushing river and evening atmosphere before returning along the shoreline as golden light settles over the lake. 

20:40 – Depart for Vermilion Lakes 

21:00 – 21:50 – Sunset at Vermilion Lakes Arrive at Vermilion Lakes in time for golden hour and sunset. 

Enjoy 30–45 minutes to: 

  • Watch Mount Rundle reflect in calm waters 
  • Capture sunset photography 
  • Relax with warm beverages 
  • Soak in the peaceful evening glow 

21:50 – Return to Banff
