The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-renowned base for ex-situ conservation, scientific research and breeding, science education, and cultural tourism of giant pandas. As a "Giant Panda Ex-situ Conservation Ecological Demonstration Project," the base is famous for its protection and breeding of giant pandas, red pandas, and other rare wild animals. The base has overcome many key technical challenges in giant panda research and boasts the world's largest artificially bred ex-situ conservation population of giant pandas and a captive population of red pandas. In addition, the base has a dedicated science education department and a specialized museum, and is a national science education base and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jiuzhaigou, a World Natural Heritage site, is renowned as a "fairytale world" and the "king of waterscapes," famous for its breathtaking water features. The valley is Y-shaped, with over a hundred alpine lakes displaying varying shades of blue, green, and dark blue due to mineral deposits. Cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped peaks, and Tibetan and Qiang ethnic customs blend seamlessly. The scenic area implements a fully online real-name reservation system, with no on-site ticket sales. Entry is not permitted without prior reservation. Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase, and you must carry valid identification with you at all times.
Altitude Sickness Warning: Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area has an altitude of 2000–3100 meters. It is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and bring portable oxygen canisters and altitude sickness medication.
Weather protection: There is a large temperature difference between day and night, so a light jacket is needed in all seasons. In summer, use sunscreen and moisturize your skin. In winter, wear non-slip and waterproof shoes and bring a lightweight raincoat (better than an umbrella).
Prohibited behaviors: The use of drones (without permission), loud noise, feeding wild animals, and graffiti are strictly prohibited within the scenic area.

In the event of severe weather or other force majeure events, the park may delay or change the operation time of rides or show times without prior notice, and may even cancel some projects and shows. If equipment malfunctions, shutdowns, or show cancellations are caused by severe weather, the travel agency will make every effort to assist you with changes; any price difference will be refunded or charged accordingly.

There is no age limit for this activity, and infants and children will be counted as passengers. For safety reasons, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult passenger. If there are passengers aged 70 or above, they must be accompanied by at least one family member or friend aged 18-69. It is not recommended for those over 80 years of age to participate.
