Founded in 1903, Tsingtao Beer is an internationally renowned brand that has won numerous international and domestic awards since its establishment. It is now sold in more than 70 countries and regions around the world.
The Tsingtao beer produced in the factory is carefully prepared with high-quality barley, fine hops and Laoshan spring water. It is famous both at home and abroad for its white and delicate foam, clear and transparent beer, and mellow and refreshing taste.
The Tsingtao Beer Museum is divided into three areas: Hall A: Dialogue with History - Centennial History and Culture Exhibition Area, Hall B: Encounter with Classics - Brewing Technology of Tsingtao Beer, Hall C: Cheers with the World - Multifunctional Interactive Leisure Area. You can visit Hall A-Hall B-Hall C in order.

—Attraction Highlights—
The Qingdao Beer Museum is located in the old Qingdao Brewery buildings, dating back over a century. The rows of red Western-style houses are quite charming, and one building facing the road is particularly eye-catching with its rooftop decorated with rows of oversized beer tanks. Inside the museum, you can learn about the history of Qingdao Beer, see the old beer-making equipment, and even taste authentic Qingdao beer.
Upon entering the main gate, you'll first see a plaza. In the center of the plaza stands a statue of the Arabic numeral "100," named "Ode to a Century," erected on August 15, 2003, to commemorate the centenary of Tsingtao Beer. To the west of "Ode to a Century" is a fountain composed of sculptures of beer bottles and glasses. There is also a statue of Dionysus in the plaza.
The brewing process area introduces the beer production process, displaying the raw materials and old equipment used in beer production. Simply put, beer making involves saccharifying malt and other raw materials at high temperatures to produce wort, followed by fermentation, filtration, and finally packaging. Here you can see the main ingredient of beer—various malts—as well as auxiliary ingredients like hops, the mashing workshop, fermentation tanks and large wooden barrels, and the packaging line that bottling the beer into bottles or cans. Among the treasures of the museum are the handcrafted copper mashing kettle and the world's oldest surviving Siemens motor. The motor, dating back to 1896, is still operational when powered.

- Ticket purchase restrictions:
A maximum of 3 tickets can be purchased with the same valid ID within 7 days.
Please bring your passport and reservation confirmation on the day of your visit.
- Ticket age policy:
Adult ticket: Applicable to tourists who are 140cm or taller (excluding 140cm) and under 60 years old (excluding 60 years old).
Senior Citizen Ticket: Applicable to visitors aged 60 to 69 (inclusive).
Student tickets: Applicable to students aged 22 and under (valid ID must be presented on-site).
Free admission: Children under 140cm (inclusive) in height are admitted free of charge (valid ID must be presented on-site). Seniors aged 70 and above are admitted free of charge (valid ID must be presented on-site).
China Transportation Card
- Transportation card redemption counter (scan to redeem): "Airport Concierge" service counter, between Gates 3 and 4, Arrival Level, 1st Floor, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. Hours: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Redeemable within 90 days of purchase. Can be used on subways and buses throughout China bearing the "China T-Union" logo.
- Please recharge your card or ensure there is sufficient balance before use. The card cannot be used normally if the balance is insufficient. Please avoid contact with high temperatures, high pressures, strong magnetic fields, and liquids to prevent damage.
- If your card is lost or stolen, you cannot report it lost. Please keep it safe.
- If the card is damaged due to human error, such as wear, bending, breakage, chip damage, or unclear card number, a new card must be purchased.
- The physical card is valid indefinitely, with the remaining balance valid until June 30, 2027. If no transactions (top-ups or card payments) are made before June 30, 2027, the remaining balance will expire. If card payments or secondary top-ups (above 1 RMB) are made before June 30, 2027, the validity period of the balance can be extended for 366 days. There may be slight color variations in the printing of the physical card; refund requests based on these reasons will not be accepted.
- Top-up methods: Top-ups can be made at offline outlets and self-service terminals within Qingdao Metro stations, and also through the Qingdao Tong APP.
