【National Taiwan Museum】

Established in 1908, the National Taiwan Museum is the oldest museum in Taiwan. Originally known as the Museum of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office, it is renowned for its natural history collections. The Exhibition Hall of Paleontology was formerly the Taipei Branch of the Nippon Kangyo Bank. It was designated as a third-class historic site by the Ministry of the Interior in 1991 and reclassified as a municipal historic site of Taipei City in 1997. Since 2005, the National Taiwan Museum has been responsible for its restoration and management, positioning it as a museum of natural and financial history.

• How to use: Present your QR Code at the ticket counter of any National Taiwan Museum branch to be scanned by staff for a paper ticket, then use the paper ticket to pass through the turnstiles at each branch.

• Visitor Guidelines:
  1. Smoking, eating, drinking, running, playing, or any other behavior that may pose a safety risk is prohibited inside the museum.
  2. Please do not bring food, liquids, umbrellas, dangerous goods, or flammable items into the museum.
  3. Please purchase tickets according to regulations. For official business, please visit the administrative building in front of the museum.
  4. Visitors who are improperly dressed or accompanied by pets (except guide dogs) will be denied entry. Video recording, the use of flash, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited. Unauthorized commercial or publishing use is strictly forbidden.
  5. An elevator for visitors with disabilities is available at the main entrance.
  6. Mandarin guided tours are available at 10:30 and 14:30.

【Miniatures Museum of Taiwan】

The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is the first museum in Asia dedicated to collecting contemporary miniature art. It features an extensive collection of miniature masterpieces, including the Rose Mansion in California, the Royal Parade in the UK, Buckingham Palace, and story-themed exhibits like Jack and the Beanstalk. Wandering through the museum is like stepping into a time tunnel filled with exotic charm.

• Visitor Guidelines:
  1. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the exhibition halls, classrooms, and ticket area.
  2. Outside food is not allowed in the gift shop and rest area. Games and activities are prohibited inside to avoid disturbing other visitors (if needed, we suggest using Yitong Park behind the museum).
  3. Young children, regardless of whether they require a ticket, must be accompanied by an adult to enter the exhibition area. Once inside, please do not allow children to run around. If a child is alone, the museum may refuse their entry. To maintain the quality of the visit, each parent is limited to bringing no more than two children under 110 cm. We appreciate your understanding.
  4. All exhibits are unique collectibles. Please do not run, play, or tap on the safety covers. Compensation will be required for any damage caused.
  5. Photography is permitted throughout the museum, but the use of flash, tripods, or other equipment that may disturb others is prohibited. If warnings are ignored, the museum may request to hold the item until you leave.
  6. The museum reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone whose behavior is deemed disruptive.
  7. To ensure the quality of the visit for everyone, the museum will refuse entry without refund to those who violate the rules and ignore warnings. Please help us maintain a respectful environment.

【Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei】

• Visitor Guidelines:
  1. Please do not talk loudly, run, play, eat, drink, smoke, or litter in the exhibition halls.
  2. Please do not use mobile phones for conversations inside the exhibition halls.
  3. Visitors who are improperly dressed or accompanied by pets (except guide dogs) will be denied entry.
  4. Please store personal luggage and bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm x 5cm) or thicker than 5cm in the lockers. For cash and valuables, please ask at the service desk for a small carry bag.
  5. Photography is currently permitted throughout the museum. To maintain the quality of the visit, please do not use flash, tripods, or video recording. Museum staff cannot provide photography services; we apologize for any inconvenience. Please respect the intellectual property rights and copyrights of the artists.
• Notice: From 2026/1/13 (Tue) to 2026/1/30 (Fri), only free exhibitions will be available during the exhibition changeover period. Ticket redemption will be temporarily suspended.
