'The Love of Shanghai'
The grand song and dance show 'The Love of Shanghai' is based on the magnificent historical scroll of Shanghai, interpreting the city's past and present. The performance recreates the heroic efforts of Lord Chunshen in dredging the Huangpu River during the Warring States period, the gentle and lingering charm of Jiangnan, the turbulent history of the Shanghai Bund, the modern days of the old Shanghai, the ideals and passion of the Age of Awakening, and the rapid development and inclusive spirit of modern Shanghai. It also captures the cultural essence of the World Expo and the development of Pudong, vividly showcasing Shanghai's red culture, Haipai culture, and Jiangnan culture. A visual feast, a soul-stirring experience!
Preface to "The Origin of Shanghai and Shanghai" More than two thousand years ago, Shanghai became the fief of Huang Xie, Lord Chunshen, one of the "Four Lords of the Warring States Period". He led the people to gradually develop this place from a fishing village in the East China Sea into a land of fish and rice in the south of the Yangtze River. In order to commemorate the immortal achievements of Chunshen Jun and the great wisdom of Shanghai's ancestors, later generations used "Shen" and "Hu", a bamboo fence for fishing tools, to refer to Shanghai.
The first scene: "Shanghai Jiangnan" The long Pujiang River has been flowing for thousands of years, giving birth to the Shanghai Jiangnan in poetry and painting. Jiangnan, you are a painting, misty and hazy, with ink and color; Jiangnan, you are a song, with the soft Wu dialect, expressing the inexhaustible vicissitudes of life. A boat, an umbrella, and a love story, this is Jiangnan in Shanghai.
Scene 2: "Shanghai" "A gateway to the rivers and seas, a metropolis in the southeast." In 1843, Shanghai was officially opened to the outside world, and foreign companies flocked in. From then on, the poetic and picturesque Jiangnan of Shanghai became the turbulent Shanghai with numerous concessions, coexistence of Chinese and foreigners.
The third scene, "Modern Years", is set in Shanghai in the 1920s and 1930s, where Eastern and Western cultures converge. Let us feel the modern times of the foreign concessions in the neon-lit night life of Shanghai.
The fourth scene, “Awakening Age”, Shanghai is the starting point of the Chinese revolution. Young people full of revolutionary ideals, represented by Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian, came one after another and dyed this land red with their youth and blood. Let us relive those turbulent and glorious years.

Furthermore, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and entry will cease once all seats are filled. There is no guarantee that all guests will be able to attend the performance.
③ The following items are prohibited from being brought into the park:
Camping vehicles, strollers (excluding baby strollers), all kinds of trolleys and wheeled transport vehicles (including but not limited to bicycles, children's tricycles, suitcases with child seats, balance bikes, scooters, inline skates, wheeled coolers, electric suitcases, etc.).
For passengers with disabilities, the elderly, or those with mobility impairments, only manual or electric wheelchairs (four-wheeled, armrest-operated standard structure) that meet national medical device standards are permitted. Vehicles not modified for wheelchair use, electric wheelchairs with front grilles, and electric mobility scooters are prohibited. When using an electric wheelchair within the park, please maintain a walking speed (maximum speed of 5 km/h or less).

① Each ticketed adult may bring one child under 1.0 meter tall or under 3 years old for free. Free admission for children does not include a seat. For more than one child, please purchase a child ticket.
② Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guardian or adult aged 18 or older to enter the park.
③ The content of park activities and performances may be changed or cancelled due to weather or on-site operational conditions. Please refer to on-site announcements for the latest information.
④ Passengers using discounted tickets must present valid identification for verification. If they do not meet the discount criteria, they can pay the difference for the applicable ticket type on-site.
⑤ Tickets are valid for one-time use only. Re-entry is not permitted after leaving the park. Please purchase a new ticket if you wish to re-enter.
⑥ Dining, shopping, and other services within the park are not included in the ticket price. Please refer to the on-site announcements at each service facility for detailed prices, contents, and terms of use.
⑦ If the ticket purchaser uses the tickets for resale or other profit-making purposes, Songcheng Performance has the right to take legal action.

Reminders
Ticket collection method: The booker must bring his passport to the ticket window (on the left side of the scenic area entrance) to collect the ticket. The passport information entered when ordering must be consistent with the passport information presented when collecting the ticket. If it is inconsistent, the ticket cannot be collected.
Please pick up your tickets at least 30 minutes before the show starts and arrive 15 minutes early.
