From Hakone-en on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone to the summit of Mount Komagatake in Hakone, the total distance is 1,783m, and it takes only 7 minutes one way!
The mountaintop features an observation deck and Hakone Motomiya Shrine, as well as a large open space.
From the summit, a panoramic view unfolds, centered around Lake Ashi below, resembling a miniature garden of Hakone. To the northwest lies the majestic Mount Fuji, and in the distance, a grand panorama stretches from Suruga Bay to the Izu Islands, the Shonan coast, and the Boso Peninsula.

4:50 P.M. (downbound)
Every hour at 00, 20, and 40 minutes past the hour, in 20-minute intervals.

For safety reasons, services may be suspended in the event of bad weather such as strong winds or thunder.
Dogs are allowed on the ride, but a pet carrier is required. At the summit, dogs can be taken out of the carrier as long as they are kept on a leash.
Please be aware that if dogs come into contact with each other, bite injuries, or harm other guests, or any other trouble occurs, owners will be responsible for resolving such issues themselves.
To ensure the safety and order of passengers, you may not be allowed to board if you do not follow the instructions of our staff.
