The Penghu International Fireworks Festival is hailed as one of the grandest summer travel events in Taiwan. It is captivating not just because it is a fireworks show, but because it is a complete travel experience that combines technology (drones), pop culture (IP collaborations), and an island vacation atmosphere. It is a visual feast that everyone must experience at least once.
Music and visual designs are coordinated with the annual international IP theme: collaborations with heavyweight IPs such as Marvel, Disney, LINE FRIENDS, and One Piece. Hundreds of drones arrange themselves in the night sky to form precise patterns (such as anime characters and iconic Penghu landmarks). The 'drone patterns' combined with 'high-altitude fireworks' and the 'Xiying Rainbow Bridge lighting' create a three-in-one three-dimensional visual effect.
- ｜Unique 'Bay' Performance Venue｜
Xiying Rainbow Bridge: The fireworks are launched from the Rainbow Bridge on the sea. The neon lights of the bridge reflect on the water, creating a stunning 'mirror effect' with the fireworks in the sky. Close-range impact: Sitting on the boat saves you the trouble of arriving early to grab a spot. The view is open and unobstructed, and you are very close to the launch site, offering a highly immersive and shocking experience. - ｜Outlying Island Tour Sessions｜
In addition to the main venue in Magong City, the Fireworks Festival usually arranges specific 'outlying island sessions' in Qimei, Wang-an, and Jibei (only available for private charter boat services).
Although the scale of the outlying island sessions is smaller, they offer more local flavor and can be combined with local attractions (such as the Qimei Twin Hearts Stone Weir). They are suitable for travelers who want an in-depth island-hopping experience, allowing for a customized tour during the day and returning to port after the fireworks end at night.
- Enjoy the fireworks at sea, away from the crowds on land. The boarding meeting point is at 'Argo Yacht Marina'. There is no need to arrive early to occupy a spot or queue up to board. On board, you can freely enjoy the popular 'Yu Guan Tender Grass Jelly' ice/frozen dessert, as well as alcoholic beverages and drinks.

Reminders
A minimum of 6 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 1 day(s) before the departure date
If the tour cannot be carried out due to force majeure such as typhoons or natural disasters, a full refund will be given.
If the activity is interrupted due to sudden weather changes, a refund may be issued after deducting expenses already incurred (such as insurance, transportation, and meals).
During the activity, you must follow the captain's instructions at all times. To avoid losing your footing and falling, or even falling into the sea, please do not move around on the boat during the journey. Thank you for your cooperation.
Space on board is limited, so please bring only light luggage.
If you are prone to seasickness, please take seasickness medication 30 minutes before departure.
If you experience any physical discomfort during the trip, please contact our staff immediately.
Because the engine propeller at the stern of the boat is very dangerous while it is in motion, please do not jump into the water while the boat is in motion.
Smoking and chewing betel nut are strictly prohibited on board during the event (except for private charter boat). To ensure the comfort of all passengers, those with severe hangovers may be denied boarding. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
For passenger safety, the company reserves the right to cancel the activity if it is affected by the passenger's physical or mental condition, sea conditions, weather conditions, or if the passenger's instructions during the activity are not met. Please follow the instructions of the staff during the activity. In order to protect the safety of the participants, the company will not provide refunds.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 31 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 21 to 30 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
- For cancellations made 7 to 20 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 70% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
