Taiwan Coal Mine Museum Tickets

Located in Shifenliao, Pingxi District, New Taipei City, the Taiwan Coal Mine Museum showcases artifacts, historical data, and mining tools, making it a perfect spot for families and educational field trips. To help visitors understand the working conditions of miners, the museum features a life-sized simulated mine tunnel. From the formation and distribution of coal to its extraction and transportation, you will feel as though you have stepped back into the peak era of the mining industry. The 'One-Eyed Little Train' is one of the museum's most historically significant exhibits. As Taiwan's first electric coal-hauling locomotive and the only one still in operation, it has been converted from a coal transport cart into a sightseeing train, attracting railway enthusiasts from all over.

The rich ecological resources surrounding the park are another highlight. During the transition from spring to summer, the mountains are covered in tung blossoms and wild lilies. The park also features an aquatic plant area, which is beautifully illuminated by fireflies on summer evenings.
