Kimono & Felt Bento Lunch Box Experience in Kyoto

Start at Miyako Miyabi Kimono Rental shop, only 1 minute from Kyoto Station.
Everything you need is included: kimono (or yukata in summer), obi belt, socks, shoes, bag, and innerwear. Men also receive a haori jacket in winter. Free luggage storage is available.

After getting dressed, take a private taxi to a renovated local Café, near Kodaiji Temple. You’ll create your very own felt lunch box using handmade felt ingredients hand crafted by a talented Japanese grandmother. This is perfect for families and children and you can bring them to your home for kids to play with their new felt bento box set!

English-speaking staff will guide you throughout, so even first-time visitors can relax and enjoy.

• Kimono Rental: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (last check-in 3:00 pm, return by 5:30 pm)
• Café: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (last order 5:30 pm)

Late Return Fees (Kimono):
• 9:00 am – 10:00 am: +1,100 yen
• 10:00 am – 6:00 pm: +2,200 yen
