Day 1 — Into the Quiet Mekong
Leave Ho Chi Minh City behind and watch the city slowly give way to rice fields, fruit gardens and narrow waterways.
By late morning, arrive at your countryside retreat — a peaceful boutique hideaway surrounded by tropical gardens and the gentle rhythm of village life. Settle in, enjoy a light lunch, and let the afternoon unfold at an unhurried pace.
Then take to the bicycle and follow quiet village lanes through orchards, rice fields and riverside hamlets. There is no rush and no checklist — just the simple pleasure of seeing the Delta as it is. Stop to taste seasonal fruit, exchange a few words with local families and watch everyday life unfold along the water.
As the afternoon light turns golden, return to your retreat for a swim or a quiet moment in the garden.
Tonight, enjoy a relaxed Southern Vietnamese dinner, surrounded by the sounds of the countryside.

Day 2 — From Farmers' Markets to Pineapple Country
Wake to the sounds of rural Mekong life and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before continuing deeper into the Delta.
Your first stop is Vị Thanh Agricultural Market, where farmers arrive with baskets of tropical fruit, vegetables and produce from the surrounding countryside. This is a working local market — lively, authentic and refreshingly free from the feeling of a tourist show.
From here, the road leads west through vast rice country towards Cầu Đúc, one of the Mekong's traditional pineapple-growing regions.
Leave the road behind and walk among the pineapple fields. Meet local growers, learn how the fruit is cultivated and, of course, taste pineapple at its freshest — sweet, fragrant and straight from the land.
As the afternoon fades, continue towards Rạch Giá. The landscape gradually opens, and the waterways of the Mekong begin to meet the sea.
Check into your coastal hotel and enjoy a relaxed dinner celebrating the flavours of Southern Vietnam.

Day 3 — From the Mekong to the Open Sea
Enjoy a final breakfast in Rạch Giá and take your time over the morning.
After check-out, your private driver will accompany you to the port, where your ferry to Phú Quốc is arranged in advance.
As the mainland slowly disappears behind you, the character of the journey changes. The rivers and rice fields give way to open water, and the horizon begins to stretch towards the island.
After approximately 2½ hours at sea, arrive in Phú Quốc.
The Mekong journey ends here — not with a grand finale, but with the feeling of having travelled slowly, seen more deeply and experienced a side of Southern Vietnam that many travellers never discover.
