Informations sur le produit

Leave the busy streets of central Hanoi and travel north to the peaceful countryside of Soc Son on a private cultural day tour.

Your first destination is the Saint Giong Temple Complex, a sacred place associated with the Vietnamese legend of Thanh Giong. According to local tradition, Saint Giong was a young hero who grew rapidly, rode an iron horse into battle, and defended the country before ascending to heaven from Soc Mountain.

Walk through the complex with your guide and visit important religious structures such as Den Trinh, the Mother Temple, Dai Bi Pagoda, the Upper Temple, and Non Nuoc Pagoda. Learn about local spiritual practices and the symbolic offerings used during the annual Giong Festival.

The Giong Festival of Phu Dong and Soc temples was inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010. Your guide will explain the meaning of its bamboo flowers, ceremonial processions, and the community’s continuing devotion to Saint Giong.

After visiting the temple complex, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Soc Son. The tour then continues to Thanh Chuong Viet Palace, a cultural and architectural space created by Vietnamese artist Thanh Chuong.

Explore a collection of traditional houses, courtyards, towers, statues, ponds, and gardens inspired by different periods and regions of Vietnam. The site offers an interesting introduction to Northern Vietnamese architecture, folk art, and traditional rural aesthetics.

At the end of the visit, relax in your private vehicle for the return journey to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon.
