Then follow the ancient "Towards the Miraculous Saint" route, descending towards the sea. The trail passes through fishing villages, quiet beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Midway, the path leads into Faros, a charming harbor village. Here, daily island life unfolds around small fishing boats and waterfront cafés. Step across a rocky islet to the island’s spiritual heart, the Panagia Chrysopigi Monastery. How did the sea itself shape the legend behind its name? The tour concludes beside the monastery’s turquoise waters, a perfect place to rest, reflect, and enjoy a refreshing swim (conditions permitting).
