Explore the world of Minoan Crete on a private guided tour combining two of Heraklion’s most important archaeological sites: the Palace of Knossos and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Begin with approximately 1.5 hours at Knossos, where your licensed Russian-speaking guide will bring to life the history of the Minoan civilization, the palace complex, its architecture, archaeological discoveries, and the myths of King Minos and the Labyrinth.

After Knossos, continue to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum for approximately 1.5 hours. See original artifacts discovered at Knossos and other Minoan sites, including frescoes, pottery, jewelry, ritual objects, and famous masterpieces of Minoan art. Connecting the archaeological site with the museum collection helps you understand how the people of Minoan Crete lived, worshipped, worked, and expressed their ideas thousands of years ago.
