Informations sur le produit

Begin your journey in Athens and drive to the Corinth Canal. Admire the sheer rock walls that rise nearly 260 feet from the waterline, connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf. Learn about the canal's history, including its proposal by a Corinthian ruler around 600 B.C.

Next, visit Ancient Corinth, a significant city-state of the Peloponnese and the wealthiest city of the ancient world. Discover its pivotal role in various wars and its connection to Apostle Paul, who visited and lived there in 51-52 AD.

Continue to Acrocorinth, standing at a height of 575 meters. Learn about its fortification between the 7th and 6th centuries BC and its strategic advantage for defense against various forms of attack.

Then, head to the Charilaos Trikoupis Rio-Antirrio Bridge, one of the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges.

Arrive in Nafpaktos, a town known for its Medieval charm and fairytale vibe. Enjoy an overnight stay and optional swimming. Explore its small Venetian port, laid-back beaches, and lush green landscape.

On the second day, visit the Delphi archaeological site and museum. See the Temple of Athena, the Tholos monument, the Kastalia holy spring, and the gymnasium.

Continue to Meteora for an overnight stay and a sunset view.

On the third day, visit the Great Meteoron Monastery, the biggest and one of the most impressive monasteries in Meteora. Learn about its construction on top of the biggest rock, “Platis lithos,” and its history as the first systematic monastic community in Meteora.

Next, visit the Varlaam Monastery, named after a daring ascetic who ascended to the rock in 1350. Discover its rich collection of about 300 manuscripts and its well-organized workroom for manuscript production in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.

Finally, visit the Theopetra Prehistoric Cave, the oldest known artificial structure, and the Battlefield of Thermopylae, where you can hear a detailed description of the battle.

Return to Athens, having visited the highlights of Greece and hidden gems like Nafpaktos and Theopetra Cave.
